Varentum provides leadership training, student portal access, coaching workflows, email updates, and optional SMS reminders. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can control communication from us.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly and information created while you use Varentum.
- Contact details, such as name, email address, company, role, and phone number.
- Application, waitlist, and enrollment information.
- Portal activity, including weekly commitments, scenario responses, check-ins, debrief status, notification preferences, and timestamps.
- Communication records, such as email and SMS delivery status, opt-in status, and opt-out requests.
- Basic technical information needed to operate the website and portal.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate Varentum and support participants.
- Provide website, portal, enrollment, and training access.
- Send magic links, onboarding emails, weekly nudges, debriefs, and operational updates.
- Draft, review, and deliver leadership coaching debriefs.
- Track program progress and improve curriculum quality.
- Protect the service, troubleshoot issues, and meet legal or compliance obligations.
Email And SMS Communications
Email is used for access, onboarding, reminders, debriefs, and program updates. SMS reminders are optional and are sent only if you opt in and provide a mobile number.
- Message frequency: typically up to 4 weekly SMS nudges per active program week, plus occasional operational messages related to your enrollment.
- Message and data rates: message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out: reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages.
- Help: reply HELP or email hello@joinvarentum.com.
- Terms: SMS use is also governed by the Terms of Service.
Service Providers
We use service providers to operate the product. These providers process information for Varentum, not for their own independent marketing.
- Supabase for authentication, database, portal records, notification preferences, and server functions.
- Vercel for website and serverless hosting.
- Resend for email delivery.
- Twilio for SMS delivery.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or restructuring.
Data Retention
We keep information as long as needed to provide Varentum, maintain program records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and improve the service. We may retain some records after an account or enrollment ends if needed for legitimate business or legal purposes.
Your Choices
- You can turn SMS reminders on or off in the portal notification settings.
- You can reply STOP to SMS messages at any time.
- You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your information, subject to legal and operational limits.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is perfect, but we work to limit access, keep sensitive keys server-side, and use trusted infrastructure providers.
Children
Varentum is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as Varentum changes. The updated date at the top shows when the policy was last revised.
